Furniture export market
It is predicted that the export market for furniture in 2022 will increase by 10 percent and have an export value of 1840.28 million U.S. dollars. In 2021, export value increased by 16.46 percent or was worth 1672.99 million U.S. dollars. The Russia-Ukraine war hasn’t affected the Thai furniture market yet; however, the COVID 19 crisis has increased the demand for furniture due to the Work from Home policy. Also, the Thai baht depreciation has also led the US, which is the major market for Thai furniture, to import more furniture from Thailand. The result of this is the expansion of the furniture export from January to March 2022 by 10.57 percent when compared to the same period in 2021.
The major export markets for Thai furniture are the US, Japan, China, Australia and Malaysia. The total value of furniture export in these five countries is 320.71 million U.S. dollars or 70.24 percent of furniture export value.

คาดการณ์การส่งออกสินค้าเฟอร์นิเจอร์และชิ้นส่วนปี 2565 เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 10 มูลค่า 1,840.28 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐฯ มูลค่าส่งออกจริงปี 2564 เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 16.46 มูลค่า 1,672.99 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐฯ จากสถานการณ์สงครามรัสเซียและยูเครนยังไม่ส่งผลกระทบกับการสินค้าเฟอร์นิเจอร์ไทย อย่างชัดเจน หากแต่วิกฤตการณ์โควิด 19 กลับสร้างความต้องการสินค้าเฟอร์นิเจอร์เพิ่มมากขึ้นเนื่องจากนโยบาย Work from Home และพฤติกรรม Work from Home ประกอบกับ เงินบาทอ่อนค่าทำให้สหรัฐอเมริกาซึ่งเป็นตลาดหลักสำคัญของสินค้าเฟอร์นิเจอร์ไทยนำเข้าสินค้าจากไทยมากขึ้น ส่งผลให้ไทยมีมูลค่าการส่งออกสินค้าเฟอร์นิเจอร์ในเดือน ม.ค.– มี.ค. 65 ขยายตัวเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 10.57 เมื่อเทียบกับในช่วงเวลาเดียวกันปี 2564
ตลาดหลักการส่งออกเฟอร์นิเจอร์ได้แก่ สหรัฐอเมริกา ญี่ปุ่น จีน ออสเตรเลีย และมาเลเซีย มีมูลค่าส่งออก เฟอร์นิเจอร์และชิ้นส่วน รวม 5 ประเทศ 320.71 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐฯคิดเป็นสัดส่วนร้อย ละ 70.24 ของมูลค่าการส่งออกเฟอร์นิเจอร์และชิ้นส่วน
