ทำไมต้อง Minimal?
ในปัจจุบันเราจะพบเห็นเฟอร์นิเจอร์ในรูปแบบ Minimal ในประเทศไทยมากขึ้น การใช้วัสดุที่มีอยู่แล้วในธุรกิจอุตสาหกรรมด้านเฟอร์นิเจอร์ เช่น ไม้สน ไม้อัด ไม้ MDF และด้วยแนวคิด less is more ที่สามารถต่อยอดการออกแบบเฟอร์นิเจอร์ในลักษณะ Minimal ได้อย่างลงตัว ด้วยการลดทอนองค์ประกอบหรือกระบวนการผลิตที่ไม่จำเป็น การออกแบบวิธีการผลิตหรือแม้กระทั่งการออกแบบที่คำนึงถึงวิธีการขนส่งไปในตัว และยังคงตอบโจทย์การใช้งานได้อย่างสอดคล้องกับ Lifestyle ในปัจจุบัน
Why do we have to be Minimal?
Nowadays, we are seeing more minimal furniture in Thailand that uses existing materials in the furniture industry like pinewood, plywood and MDF wood. Also, the idea of “Less is More” becomes the main concept of minimal furniture since it means reducing parts or manufacturing processes that are not necessary along with considering the form of delivery in the design. Therefore, minimal furniture goes in harmony with the lifestyle of many people’s modern life.
